The 2019 CESifo Area Conference on Applied Microeconomics brought together 22 researchers who are working in the field of the functioning and regulation of markets, contract theory and the economics of information, to present and discuss their ongoing research. The keynote lecture was delivered by Costas Meghir (Yale University).
This years' Distinguished CESifo Affiliate Award was presented to Raúl Sánchez de la Sierra for his paper "When Formal Contracts Fail".
