Data has always been a key tool in economics research. But Big Data goes beyond being a mere tool: it is opening new fields of research and also helping to gain fresh insights that were previously out of reach. This workshop will review how Big Data is being used by young scholars, what new fields they are exploring, and which insights they have uncovered.
