ifo Institute, Munich, 2019

But as they grow, social costs rise rapidly and new challenges emerge, which in turn hamper sustainable urban development. The CESifo Forum 3/2019 (Autumn) investigates some of the major current challenges facing Europe's cities and proposes appropriate strategies for the future.
