Yet, it is hardly possible today to collect the relevant data and estimate the extent to which the global economy will be damaged. This persistent uncertainty forces us to omit the ‘Spotlight’ and ‘Trends’ chapters in this issue of the CESifo Forum, which regularly inform the readers about the world economic outlook and the development of key economic indicators and expectations in the EU.
