How to Become a CESifo Research Network Member
- Membership is upon invitation only. Following a research visit at the Center for Economic Studies (CES) at LMU Munich, or the ifo Institute, researchers may be invited to join the network.
- CESifo Fellows may propose potential CESifo Affiliate members by sending a letter of recommendation to the CESifo Managing Director. The application must include a CV. The minimum requirement for membership is two publications in refereed journals and completion of a PhD.
- Winners of the Distinguished CESifo Affiliate Award are invited to join the CESifo Research Network as Affiliates. Successful candidates carry the title Distinguished CESifo Affiliate. The decision to become an Affiliate member is made by the selection committee of the Distinguished CESifo Affiliate Award.
