Research Network Areas

Area Conferences

Annual CESifo Area Conferences (held at the ifo Institute in Munich) are organized for network members to stimulate international scientific interaction and policy discussion. Further conferences and workshops focusing on specific research problems and policy issues are also held throughout the year.

Area Directors

Area directors take responsibility for leading each of the eight CESifo research areas. Each director encourages joint work among network members who are interested in carrying out empirical research or institutional cross-country studies using the ifo Institute's  databases on institutional international comparisons and the business cycle. Further initiatives for cooperation and exchange between network members are welcomed.
