How to Become a Guest

Guests are invited to Munich upon suggestion by ifo researchers.

While at the ifo Institute, visitors pursue their own research, give seminars and interact with ifo academics. An office is provided, along with accommodation. Depending on the length of the visit, guests are either accommodated in an apartment on the ifo Institute premises or in a nearby hotel. Travel expenses are reimbursed by CESifo. Guests typically stay for between one and six weeks and, following a post-visit evaluation, are invited to become CESifo Research Network members.

By participating in the ifo/CESifo Visiting Researchers Program, guest researchers agree to the CESifo Code of Conduct.
