Venice Summer Institute 2024: Funding Education: New Insights on Impacts, Contexts, and Challenges
San Servolo, Venice
Scientific Organizers: Barbara Biasi and Katharina Werner
Social scientists have long debated whether adjusting school resources – by increasing them across the board, changing the way they are distributed across schools and students, or raising the effectiveness of their usage – can improve educational quality and close gaps in both inputs and outcomes. This workshop will bring together researchers who work on understanding not only whether increased resources can improve education, but also under which circumstances increases in spending are most beneficial and what investments yield the largest returns.
Paper submission for this workshop is now closed and the program will be made available in due course.
