The Richard Musgrave Visiting Professorship 2023 is awarded to Rosanne Altshuler (Emeritus Professor of Economics at Rutgers University) by CESifo and the International Institute of Public Finance (IIPF).

The highlight of the Musgrave Professorship is the Richard Musgrave Lecture, which will be held on 30 March 2023 at 6 p.m. (CEST) and in which Professor Altshuler examines the topic of Tax Planning and Multinational Behavior. The lecture will be hosted by CESifo and sponsored by Hannover Re.

The laudation will be delivered by the IIPF President, Wojciech Kopczuk (Professor of Economics and of International and Public Affairs, Department of Economics and School of International and Public Affairs, Columbia University).

Participation is upon in invitation only. Proceedings will be livestreamed
