CESifo Area Conference on Employment and Social Protection 2013

The purpose of the workshop is to bring together CESifo members to present and dis-cuss their ongoing research, and to stimulate interaction and co-operation between them. All CESifo Research Network members are invited to submit their papers, which may deal with any topic within the domains of employment and social protection. Both do-mains are to be broadly defined, the former including, in particular, issues of the organi-sation of labour. The latter domain, in turn, includes not only governmental institutions of the welfare state, like social insurance, but also other non-governmental institutions of the welfare society, such as the family, or charities and informal networks, social norms and altruistic behaviour.
