Free Trade and Prosperity

The Doha Round of trade liberalisation surprised everyone by not being totally dead: it achieved a modest success in Bali that has lifted the spirits of free-traders everywhere. And yet, the rage appears to be bilateral agreements such as the TTIP and the TIP, which might end up undermining a global agreement. Is Europe really on the right track towards promoting free trade globally?
